Evel Knievel’s Son to Soar Over Mirage Hotel’s Upgraded Volcano

Following around a year of sleeping, the Mirage Hotel-Casino’s famous volcano will be reborn bigger and more impressive than in the past. The popular Las Vegas, Nevada hotel-casino is pulling out all the stops to attract as many vacationers as possible to explore their reconstruction.
This New Year’s Eve, the stuntman Robbie Knievel will try a motorcycle jump over the Mirage Hotel and Casino’s synthetic volcano. This feat will indicate the finale of a 3-year redecoration of the Vegas casino and hotel. Over this period, the LV casino has spent around $110 million upgrading their accommodations and suites.
This New Year’s Eve stunt is supposedely Knievel’s last act in the U.S.. The act will go on for five minutes and include fireworks and a high-tech soundtrack. The music for the stunt has been performed by Mickey Hart (former Grateful Dead drummer). Robbie Knievel is the son of the late Evil Knievel-one of the world’s first and most renowned daredevils.
The Las Vegas Mirage was developed in 1989 by Vegas mogul Steve Wynn and was regarded as Las Vegas’ 1st megaresort. This upgrade is one of a set of hotels on the Vegas Strip as of late. The hotel and casino hopes that this spectacle will attract tons of sightseers to the Vegas casino-hotel. The inspiration behind the upgrade is to compete with other popular Sin City hotspots like the Bellagio resort.
